Job: Health and Safety Adviser, AXA

Mobile role with allocated office base in Bristol. Other locations will be considered for the right candidate.

At the AXA Group – one of the largest and most successful financial services businesses in the world – we take our responsibilities to staff and visitors very seriously. We’re looking for someone with a NEBOSH General Certificate – and ideally a Diploma 1 or equivalent – to ensure we comply with legislation and protect people’s health, safety and wellbeing at our sites.

On a day-to-day basis, this will mean:-

• Completing site-specific risk assessments, and recommending improvements;
• Training needs analysis, some training delivery and oversight of manual handling training etc;
• Accident, investigation;
• Project work to develop improvements in our Health and Safety framework and raise awareness;
• Working within a team of qualified and experienced professionals to develop and maintain our successful Health and Safety strategy.

You should be able to liaise effectively with business and union representatives and have strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
