Job: Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor, St Ives

This purpose of this role is to ensure that all systems and procedures in the six Direct Division sites across the country comply with current Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and St Ives Group policies.

Applicants must be knowledgeable, authoritative with proven ability to competently advise Directors and Managers on all Health Safety & Environmental matters.

Strength of character is an important attribute. Apart from a “hands on” approach in dealing with issues that arise at all levels within the manufacturing process you must be well organised and be able to produce professional concise reports.

Applicants must have CMIOSH as a minimum qualification. A good appreciation of processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment is essential.

The successful applicant will need to be well organised, self motivated, computer literate, willing to accept over night stays away from home and demonstrate a total commitment to the job.
