Job: Senior SHEQ Manager, Hays Health & Safety

This regional contractor has 30 years’ experience with a solid financial and technical base spanning a wide spectrum of rail, civil engineering and building. A talented senior SHEQ manager is required to run operations from the head office in Southampton. Working with a safety team of six, you will have the entire control over the health, safety and quality systems and procedures and will be responsible for managing a team of experienced staff working out on sites across the region.

Ideally, you will have a minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent NVQ or Msc and be CMIOSH qualified or working towards. You will hold a lead auditors qualification, membership to CQI and have an industry bias towards Quality Assurance. Extensive experience in the heavy civils/construction industry is essential with a proven track record for being a good communicator and manager. A motivated, proactive approach to health and safety, quality and environment is also essential with the ability to work well under pressure.
